It is primarily a conversation where both the coach and the client interact with the intention of increasing the client's personal awareness on a topic of their choice. It is important to have an objective to work towards and your personal coach will be able to facilitate and support you in that journey. While some clients expect 'advice' from their coach, that is not the primary purpose of coaching.
Ultimately, we hope to transform our clients into independent individuals who leave the coaching with renewed energy, clarity and inspiration in their chosen area of life.

Clients often engage him to work on their personal communication, self-expression, non-traditional and objective viewpoints, confidence-building, team/relationship dynamics and mental & emotional wellness/resilience. His corporate career has seen him move through the industries of publishing, journalism and public relations.
The short answer is 'no'. While we primarily want to support men who are in need of mental and emotional support, we do welcome anyone who identifies differently to write in to us.

If both coach and client feel good about the partnership, the engagement can proceed. However, it is also common for clients to take some time to weigh their options before making a final decision.
The entire process is one of willing partnership and agreement, and the coach will always honour and empower these qualities in their interactions with the client.
